MEET THE TRAINER

James Hirmas is co-founder and former CEO of JHC Technology. He served honorably in the US Army in support of Signals Intelligence missions as an Intelligence Analyst. James is an Information Technology Subject Matter Expert with almost 20 years of diverse Engineering, Architecture, Development, and Analytic experience with a focus in AWS and SharePoint solutions and technologies. James has SharePoint Engineering and Architectural experience in a wide array of commercial and government enterprise deployments.

 

James was named an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Champion Authorized Instructor in April 2019 by demonstrating his deep understanding of AWS services and solutions and his ability to teach AWS content to others. In addition to being an AWS Champion Authorized Instructor, James holds the following certifications:

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner

  • AWS Developer

  • AWS SysOps Administrator

  • AWS Solutions Architect

  • AWS Professional DevOps Engineer

ITIL Training and Certification from JHC Technology

Organizations in various industries have technical personnel and their Systems Integrators very often leverage IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL®) best practices to ensure uniform and well-refined processes are established and maintained in order to achieve their respective functions in support of their respective missions. At the core of this utilization of the ITIL® Framework is the need for training and certifying personnel in ITIL® at a level commensurate with everyone’s respective role. 

By extending the ITIL® Expertise into the Intermediate and Expert levels as appropriate, personnel will become equipped to not only understand but be responsible for implementing various IT Service Management processes commensurate with their respective ITIL® Training levels. JHC is an authorized ITIL® Training Provider and holds a Licensing Agreement for ITIL® training materials and exams from ITpreneurs/Leapest and PeopleCert, two leading providers of IT training content and services worldwide.  

JHC Technology provides two options for ITIL4® Foundation training and certification to elect based on targeted resources anticipated to receive the training and its mission needs. 

ITIL4 Foundation Training Options 

ITIL4® Foundation Training Option 1 

  • Three (3) days of accredited ITIL4® Foundation Training (complete with Materials and associated Certification Exams)

  • Maximum of Twenty-Five (25) students. 

ITIL4® Foundation Training Option 2 

  • Three (3) days of accredited ITIL4® Foundation Training (complete with Materials and associated Certification Exams)

  • Two (2) additional days of custom-tailored-training (based on type/role and experience levels of technical resources attending) with material derived from Intermediate and Expert courses as well as instructor’s own expertise.

  • Maximum of Twenty-Five (25) students.

MEET THE TRAINER

Joshua Dirsmith

Joshua Dirsmith is a proven U.S. Public Sector contracting executive that has more than 20 years of professional experience leading teams in the pursuit and delivery of all facets of IT Service Management engagements; directly supporting hundreds of thousands of users world-wide. He has managed and trained diverse, technical teams of more than 200 personnel globally, in both capture and professional services endeavors. Prior to joining JHC, he served as Dell’s Global Program Manager for Resolution Management, the Lead Services Architect for Federal Support Solutions as well as one of two accredited ITIL® Trainers. During his tenure there as an EXIN-accredited Foundation, Intermediate and Expert-level ITIL® Trainer, he taught ~30 courses to Dell Global Technical Support, Federal Services Divisions and Federal Customers in ITIL® concepts; resulting in 350+ Foundational and Intermediate Certifications, as well as graduating a class of certified ITIL® Experts. While serving in a variety of positions at JHC, he became accredited to teach ITIL4 through ITpreneurs and has taught 5 courses internally to JHC and to our Public Sector Customers. To maintain technical and process relevance, Mr. Dirsmith has continuously pursued extensive managerial, service lifecycle and technical training throughout his career - resulting in several industry-standard certifications including his ITIL® Expert, ITIL®4 Foundation, PMP®, AWS Cloud Practitioner, MCSE and CompTIA Security+, as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree from The Pennsylvania State University in Management & Information Systems with a Minor in International Business.
